Fatelessness Task

1.- This book has a message that the author himself left in the novel without even knowing that he was leaving a very important message, the message is that the book itself its a dead memoir so we the people of today don't make the same mistakes that the nazi's have done. Like in the video an interview to Imre kertesz he said that the book itself would be a memoir to all the people so we dont commit the same mistakes, he said that to us and also i believe that this is right, its the only way that we have to not make the same mistakes as them, we learn through errors and thats the best way to learn. Without this source of information that the author gave us we would be making a second holocaust and the world itself would be like hell, this is why history is important, without it we would be making the same errors and history wouldn't exist.

2.- Its hard to understan the points of view given in fatelessnes, this is a cultural problem, mainly because we lack of information and this type of information cant be given, is something you have to live, there are some things that words cannot explain, such things as the holocaust, what we know about it are just the suffering of the people and how germans burned all those jews, we can`t really know how was it since we didnt lived when that was happening, maybe it was something that was right or maybe it really was a bad thing but this we will never know; people from germany from today has nothing to do with the nazi community from the 1940, this people is really repentated about this, something you really cant be proud of, but we really dont know since we lack of cultural experience to really understand what happened at the holocaust and how they felt.

3.- what really makes fatelessness so interesting is the technique that the author use, the narrative technique, " You must be aware that telling a story is a complex negotiation between author and reader, involving the artificial creation of a temporary reality. The skilful reader is both inside this reality, responding to it – and outside, observing it." this type of technique is demanding the reader to fall into step with the narrator, in this case the author is making the rythm of the novel so the reader don't lose the interest on the book; also this book is written in first person, wich gives you a more realistic point of view of what is happening right at the time and at that place, how the narrators is explaining the moment, personality and skillful reading must be taken into account, this judges the relative truth of what the narrators is telling us.

4.- The holocaust helped the readers to understand the book fatelessness in a better way, the context of this book is a real key factor to make it successful without it the novel wouldnt be as interesting as it is right now,
the creation of this story wouldn't have be this better if it wasnt because of the context in wich it was putted on. The atrocities that happened at the holocaust made the readers feel like they knew what they felt at that palce and at that moment the holocaust was a connection to the readers with the author, without it the novel wouldn't have that much sense and the backline of the story would be boring and the interest would be lost easily.

Irme kertesz

1.- the monuments made by the american artist Peter Eiserman represents the museum of terror.
2.- The paradox that the presenter mentions regarding  Imre Kertesz and. The place where he lives is that he now lives  in the country that once tried to kill him (Germany) instead of living at his hometown, Hungary.
3.- Antisemitism after Auschwitz would be because they dont know anything about the holocaust, before auschwitz would be the influence from part of Hitler.
4.- this make us much richer, the information that they give us is another point of view of what happened, this makes it better since we have anothe POV of the situation.

Cristopher incident

        A curious incident...

Cristopher's mind works on a different way than ours, we can tell this because on every scenario that he could encounter he will remember every aspect that was there at the moment, eg. If he is in the bathroom, leave and then ask him to remember what was there he will tel you 3 towels 2 were dirty and the other one was on the floor this one was blue coloured the other ones were red, the curtain was yellow.....etc. Christopher mind is better prepared for this thing and ours will just remember the basic things like, there were towels and a curtain, and thats it.

2.- people will most likely choose to describe what where they looking for, thisnis because our mind works that way, if we are at a forest and we are looking for a special type of soil we are going to look the ground all the way, until we get to see what we are searching for, anything else will fail on catching our attention.

3.- people is not lazy, as christopher, what really happens is that we aren't really supposed to be able to memorize everything that we see, christoopher is a special case and cant be compared to the other normal people, we are going to just memorize what we are really loking for and what is really going to catch our attention, if you look at a tree you will not experience anything new, but if theres a tree 20 meters tall with golden leaves you will be amazed and that will be always on your mind thinking how amazing that tree was.

Fatelessness summary

                          FATELESSNESS SUMMARY 1-5.

Chapter 1.
This book is set on hungary in the midst of the second world war and the holocaust. Gyuri tells to his teacher that his dad asked him to stay  at home from school, he then is sent to his home. His father is about to be sent away for “labor service,” and this is the last chance to spend time with him. However, his father spends the day at his shop, which Gyuri soon begins to find a bit boring. Eventually he grows so bored that he passes the time by going outside to relieve himself and then washing his hands. Gyuri's father gives over control of the shop to his assistant, Mr. Sütõ, because the latter is “completely aboveboard regarding his race” and will be allowed to run the business. Mr. Suto offers to write a receipt, but Gyuri’s father insists that there is no need for such things between the two of them.

FATELESS

Fateless.

Fateless is an autobiographical novel written by the hungaian writer Imre Kertesz (b.1929). This novel is a literary memoir about the holocaust, this is one of the many point of views about the massive killing of jews, this is mentioned at the analysis by Milena Borden.
What is really wrong, as said at "WHAT REALLY DIED AT AUSCHWITZ", is that muslims are saying that this incident of the holocaust never happened and they want to take it out because it offends them in some way, this is wrong and what people should do, is face them before they take over and finally remove the holocaust from history, wich was a very important issue and delicated to some people since it was something that the whole world knew, something very important was lost in that tragedy and the muslims want to stop teaching it to their childs because they say it offends them and that it never happened.
Fateless is proof that the holocaust was real and that the muslims are wrong, This novel is a point of view of what happened at Auschwitz, one of the most important concentration camp during the holocaust.

In what way does the text differ from the information presented in the video, in other words, explain how the two resources present information about the holocaust but in a different way or from a different perspective.

The text presents a point where the responsables of the holocaust, the problem there is that he said that after that incident we killed a beautiful culture the chosen people and therefore we should open accept every other culture, but the problem was that they invite a whole different culture to their place (Spain) and then felt like that they shouldnt have invited them since they had different habits, the video shows us a point of view where Germans were 100% responsables of  the Holocaust and that jews where nothing more than a problem and a plague to them so they had to kill them since they were nothing more than trash to them.

Trip to maycomb

Visit to maycomb Alabama in the 30's

Maycomb was a known place on a southern state of Alabama, its a beautiful place with dirty streets, the people from there is nice with everyone and they know each other perfectly, they all dress on very fancy ways, but there were very poor people, slaves, racism and the difference between poor and rich was big, this was because the great depression, but anything else was elegant and the cars were unique with fancy wheels and body. I felt many emotions and one of them was happiness this because i felt like the whole town was a family, despite the racism part and poor people on the town everything was nice, I once saw a family with a black servant I think she was called Calpurnia, they were talking about her grammar wich happened to be good and with no flaws at all, tho they remarked that her grammar was as good as anyone else when I thought it was even better than politicians grammar. I happened to see quite a lot of victorian house wich meant they were rich people, but happened to see one house very unique, I felt like it was bewitched, It looked abandoned and it was neglected, on the entrance it said Boo radley, the neighbours told me that a ghost lived there and on the nights he caused a lot of problems, they blamed the ghost from "The Radley place" for any crime where the criminal never was found. They once blamed him because one of them died after robbing a house. Even if Maycomb was a place where racism and blaming ghosts for a crime was normal, I would love to visit it again, it was beautful and it was well organized, people were nice and it had a nice ambient where you could do and feel almost whatever you want.
